City in the North

She was another world away

And I don't know what to say

 She was far, far, away

She was far, far away

In a whole other city, in a whole other city

In whole other time

She never needed me

Just like I needed her, just like I needed her

No never quite the same

She was far, far away

In a whole other city, in a whole other city

And I didn't mean to make you go

I didn't mean to go away

But I had to let you go

I had to look, to look away

I had to look to other way

I had to look to the south

She was in the city in the north

City in the north

A whole other city

A whole other time
