Frog chorus of the river bank

 Coming out of the blue

I saw you in red

Coming out of the fog

I raised my head

And leaping onto logs

I said

I'm out I'm alive

Don't make me go

Back down that pithole

I don't want to work underground

It'll destroy my soul

But likewise

I don't have the energy

To rise above this dull chorus of frogs

Who ribbet and bekekex bekekex

koax koax

croak their throats

At river boats

passing over
