Coconut shy

 I've seen a tomato blush

At a salad dressing

I've seen a courgette rush

At a cucumber at a wedding

I've seen a squash yellow

Too afraid to join his pals and die

But I've never seen,

No I've never seen

I've never seen a coconut shy

I've seen a coconut jump from

A burning building and run right through

The flames

I've seen a coconut get milked

by an unknown maid

I've seen a coconut on stage

Oh a coconut just loves the fame

Yeah I've never seen a coconut shy

I've seen a a pineapple go quiet

When there's many an apple on the cart

I've seen a banana stripped

down and slide about the room

I've seen a star fruit go red as the

Stars and the moon

But no, no, no

I've never seen a coconut shy

I've seen a cabbage green

About to go into war

I've seen a brocoli preen itself

Like a blackbird that soars

I've a daffodil yellow

Like a sunset mellow

All in the sky

But I've never seen

Never seen a coconut shy

Where are you looking?

Oh where do you think it'll hide?

I've never been a pokin

Around a palm tree, but I wish that

I'd have tried

I sure would like to meet one

Oh perhaps I'll go on a date

But I've seen the figure of a fig

But I ain't never got it ate

I've seen a melon so juicy

I've seen a carrot kinda small

I've seen many things you can think of

Oh I probably have seen 'em all

But there's one that i've just gotta

Hold my head back and cry

No I ain't, no I ain't

I ain't never seen a coconut shy

I never seen a coconut shy child

I never seen a coconut shy

I've seen an orange in a tangle

Making people cry

Oh they're always on their worst behaviour

They never once ask why

But no it ain't no use now

I ain't never seen a coconut shy

You can tell it to shut up

You can tell it a hushaby

But there's nothing like a quiet nut

Not I ain't seen a coconut shy

No thing but, they're a very very loud nut

Ah I've seen almost everything

But I've never seen a coconut shy

Oh yes I've seen almost everything

But I've never seen a coconut shy

Oh I like to walk through the flowers

Maybe some kind of prize

If you could find the powers of a

a coconut in the sky

But I don't want to make a big deal

Just About the way that I do feel

I'm never gonna say oh why, oh why

I've never seen a coconut shy
