There is a woman around clock

What is it I'm good for?

Is it ever enough?

With a bullet in my skull, full of your love

Shoot me down at midnight

Kill me just at lunch

Duel with me at dawn

Pushing the buttons of love

There can be no answer

None that I know from stuff

That floats around the dancer

In a raging storm of love

There's a woman around midnight

And one comes to me at dawn

There's a woman in the dying light

And a woman when you're born

There's a woman every hour

A woman round the clock

And they keep you in their power

Until their ship does dock

Second hand of woman

Third hand of man

Hours of the child

Who counts the summertime

Making all your plans

Day after day

Filling up your Gods

Moulding like your clay

Can you bring me to you?

What should I say?

I am dying in your love

Dying on your lawn today

Heman on Holiday

 Heman went on holiday

To the land of the dead

There he met skeletor

Who to Heman said

Oh Heman where's your musket

Where is Shera and snarf

And where are all your grateful disciples

To this Heman just laughed

I left them back in rainy England

They can dig their own graves

I'm done with saving the Universe this month

I'm a master and not a slave

I leave it to the skivvies

To do the work for me

They can rescue the scraggy navvies

They can bolster the refuggees

I'm on holiday in Lanzarote

And here I'm going to stay

Well Skeletor was so impressed

And deep down in his evilness

He conjured up a plan

To invade Castle Grey Skull

While the cat is away the mice may play

And this cat's had one hell of a day

He'll be dozing for some time

In the sun

So Skeletor returned to England

And held his wife Shewar

For a victim

And told the world he was their master

and he held the master plan

Worlds apart

 They don't want to be

Part of the family

They wanted to be different

They wanted to be estranged

On the other side of the world

Bold in bold way

Brave in a brave

Carnival of the senses

Walking charade

Doctor of commerce

Sister of slade

Condominium for improvement

Out in the everglade

Dog without a bone

Arrow without a heart

Sharp things and all alone

In the frozen dark

Diamonds in the fire

Sending out their sparks

Rug lights on the wire

Hanging out worlds apart

Well we used to be a family

Around the inglenook hearth

We used to hold the everglade

But now we are apart

And dogs that howl in the moon fields

Foxes run, and fishes dart

Shoot me with your wild wind

Because we're worlds apart

I should be an astronaut

And walk upon the moon

Perhaps I'll meet a family there

One with a silver spoon

Perhaps all the money

cannot buy back a broken heart

But it could buy me a ticket to fly

Because we're worlds apart

Queen

She looked back on her life

The good and the dark

The memories of sorrow like

A twisted willow bark

She always counted her blessings and blew

A kiss to her nephews and those who she knew

And the speeding train kept coming

Through the tunnel took aim

It had her in its sights like a shooting flame

Speed up, steam train speed up through the dark

The tunnel is long, but on the other side is light

She didn't want to fall to pieces at the very end

All of these sweet meats had somehow taken her name

Mother of appeasement

Mother of the dark

Queen of all concealment

Cloak and dagger heart

Hope in desperation

Light of the nation

Remember us now

Before you depart

Great figures you did know

Now time has brought low

Seasons of the blessings

And choices cut like ribbons

At supermarket openings

And places of state

High churches at your gate

And turning around watching

The parade of colours march

All of these occasions held aloft

The nation's torch

Shine, shine a light down on Earth

Where has man gone wrong

Never worth the question

What good can we do now?

That is the abiding notion

Many rocks have fallen from the fascia's face

And a crumbling mantle piece

But a fierce fire in the grate

The Mansion still stands

All the enemies gather at the gate

But her energy lives on

In the men and women of state

Herman the merman

I had many views from the north to the south

I very rarely got news from the cave's mouth

And for all that I knew we could have been at war

Oh I was the merman hermit

A fishy tail, much like a whale

A salty spray out of the way

I should guess but it was less

I was the merman hermit

I went to walk in fish markets

And saw my cousins on the scale

And asked where's the tail of the whale?

They said They'd not suffer the waste

But I said I'm fish up to the waist

I am Herman the Merman can't you tell?

Mermaid

 She was a mermaid

She had water on the brain

She was a mermaid

She had water in her heart

It was half-full

It was half-full of salt and

It was half-full

It was half-full of water

She was a mermaid

She cried tears made of the sea

She was maid enough for me

A mermaid

Half fish and half human

A mermaid

She had water in her legs

And scales for a tail

and she layed those fishes

Well they were almost like a whale

She knew just exactly

The way to the sea

She was a mermaid

And maid enough for me

Cow turns, don't Kow Tow

 Cows in the field

Just as I was praying

Saying me Psalm,

The cows came from behind

Meaning to do me harm

But I kept reading

I kept putting my hands together

Each time I turned they had advanced at a toppling speed

And the trampling sound as of thunder came up

I turned again and they were struck dumb

By my lightning speed

It is easy to surprise a cow herd, indeed

Make eye contact is the first rule

Let them see you are not afraid

For they equate fear with walking away

Therefore do not give them any excuses

For their abuses of animal power

And sheer brawn over brains

Just like the Hawk

You've got to keep looking over your shoulder

Look them in the eye,

If you feel you're going to die

Stand your ground

Don't run

The cows are going home

Under the sun

And lay me down in pastures green

And the beasts of the field

Shall be your friend

Oh don't be a coward,

But be a cow herd

Stand up straight like a cowboy

Why do we never learn those skills in England?

Where arguably we have the greater chance of being

Attacked by livestock

Being a rambling nation

And having the majority of foot paths crossing

Through farming land?

Teach a British school boy how to lasso

Or how to holla at a cow

How to barter at a cattle auction

How to herd and how to gather

Oh give us a bovine education

Let us know our roots as a farming nation

Make us heed how to stop a stampede

Give us proof to contend with hoof

And know just how long to pale out the tether

make us cherish our boot leather
