Disuasion

Whirlpool of damage
Maelstrom of dispair
Throw me to the wolves
Let me be eaten by bears
I come to you with my ashes
And you throw them in my hair
Oh Maelstrom of damage
Whirlpool of wear

Disuade me, disuasion
The whole plagued crew
Have been running the carnival for years
But The red top's turning blue
And all the circus acrobats
On the trapeze of disease
Are swinging back and forth like bats
Like pendulums in trees
Like some Orang Utan
Has been let out its cage
And now its roaming free
Oh disuade, disuasion
Disuade me

12 years a wave

I am 12 years a wave
12 years a wave
12 years a wave waving at you
You know I 've been a rolling
12 years on an ocean blue
No never breaking
Onto somebody new
I have never crashed,
Never reached my everest peak
Never crest up with the best
Stayed down with the meek
The strong ones they are dying
Waves upon the shore
The tide just pulls them back
But they keep going back for more

But I stay out in the ocean
Avoiding all commotion
noone can bother me
Oh life is swell
There's a current towing me under
In a motion
I'm swallowed up in a Tsunami of regret
Like the earth did shudder
The epicentre of a rudder
We are all gravitating to the self same fate

12 years a wave flowing out on the ocean
Reefs and knots are tying me
To the the rocky bottom
Anchoring all my dreams
With the fishes on the tide

Pave the stones

Well you said that you were with me in the garden
And you said that you would be with me in the end
Well its more than schaden freuden
If I say now farewell my friend

You know that I've always thought you were peculiar
Like an a letter I cannot send
The writings done, the message has hardened
But For me this is the end my friend

We each have our stepping stones to follow
Through the garden of this paradise
You are lucky if they are large enough to land on
And luckier still if you don't fall off them
Over the side

Giraffes

All through-out the Eden times
The dog's bear their teeth
And laugh
At the pearly flowers
Of the telegraph
And curtail, the male giraffes
Into thinking themselves tall
When all loves like the towers
Have their times to fall

She told me only somethings
But I meant nothing at all
Only words that were bowstrings
On which her arrows were drawn
And passion is just a time that sings
Of a love and life enthrall
we must follow in our hearts
That line when love does call

The Advice of Chaucer

She was reeling from a fight
From a love who she'd left behind
Her bed was like a ship
That rocked across the sea

I'm eating fishes
And the bacteria
Of the wishes
That I can't control

I cry for you
I cry to the lord

I'm in a fight for my life
I've seen the early morning light
And the night cut like a knife
Through the barrels of my soul

I have a kidney of consequence
Which filters all my dreams
And empties my utopias
Into someone else's streams

And the firebrands are scoffing
At the girls without their souls
Knowing that they'll be coughin
In some fiery hell holes

And temptation takes me
Like seal that is slipped
Like a knife beneath the shoulder blades
Or a hole in the hull of my ship

There's a leak in my consciousness
Where salvation drips
Either I will drown in self-confidence
Or be buried inside some skips

Don't ask me for my blessing
You must go and choose your own way
Just be careful to avoid the ones who lose
And never work for those who don't pay

To the tune of Cleopatre's needle

I get up in the morning
The fish are still yawning
In the wild sea's coast
Far from the warning
That you felt it was burning
That I loved you the most

You never gave me your name
You gave me many things
That I called a shame
But you never did give me your name

So I can't remember now what you said to me
I can't recall what you thought or thanked
But maybe you were a Romanian
Maybe you were a Bulgarian
Maybe you held a glass in your hand
Well it was easier for me if you name it
Easier if you blame it
All on me

But you never gave me your name did you
So I guess that She will have to do

Masterthief

I had a dream that
You were with me and
The sand was a roaring beast
We were in
A desert land and
The sunlight never did cease

I stood up to great a mare
And
Check it over, checked her teeth
They were square and
Something there and
Some diamonds buried beneath

Well someday its all gonna be different
When I feel the weight of a leaf
Well every thing must fall
into the hands of the masterthief

The tourbus and the curtain closes
The firetrucks spray water hoses
I need to duck to sniff roses
While above me fly wild geese

There are two thoughts that keep
Coming to get me
The first is one of belief
The second is who is this Moses
Who tries to give me some relief

One day this is all gonna look different
I will steal enough to save our grief
Don't take me at my word
But just blame the masterthief

It should have been different but somebody stole it
They roll it in their mind like a grief
But next time my guards will patrol it
But they will never catch the masterthief
