Duck Disco

 Duck butts in the air

Stick your duck butts in the air

Like you just don't care

while looking for your grub down there

Shake those tail feathers

Fellas, ladies

Mallards, Drakes

Come on and waggle it

Just a little bit

Make no mistakes

There's party going down on the lakes!

Come on and haggle it

Come on duck on the dance floor

Dance, dance duck on the ice some more

Slap and tickle those little duck flipper flappers

Slipping off a duck's back like Jack Daniels

Don't throw no stones at glass houses

Fly on home

In your thousands

Canada Geese just looking for release

Come abounding, resounding to the beat

Of a hundred duck feet,

 paddling

Ham Wall reserve walk with Ed

All the teeming little monsters down on the lake

Eating themselves

there's no mistake

Dragon flies gobble midgies

And Mosquitoes suck my blood

The only one who doesn't know

is Noah with his flood

Bring the animals two by two

the amster the gerbil

Even the cock roach too?

Oh Mrs Noah in her hide

Could not have conceived the turn about

Nor the laundry bill for accommodating all those lost souls,

But down on the lake

It all goes round

Like a washing machine

Clothes in a tumble drier

This year to next the seasons change

The reds mix with the whites

And it all gets stained green

From a favourite pair of socks

Prison

Could it be that I lay dying

Could it be that I've been slain

All I see as I am lying

Are the ones to whom I blame

I hear the sounds in the cathedral

Mystical voices raised in praise

Of the one who keeps on shining

Though the days be numbered and are named

I see the fog lift from the river

I see the lights of dawn appear

And if you call me by my number

Behind the bars I my face sees clear

Just lock me up

Just unlock me

My heart is blocked

By immoral grease

I search for absolution

Wash me clean

Purify my release

All along the cold horizon

Warm sun rays begin to reign

Like a king in gold and iron

Shining out in His name

I see my light come shining

Brothers across waters

Well now brother we will cross over

Row our boat to the other side

Yes now Father, I hear the clover

And see, the sea swell on the tide

And now our way it is the rover's

And we shall rove to the other isle

Yes I see the large waves gather

Yes I can hear the sea gulls' cries

And I smell the scent of clover

And I can feel the tug in my heart of lies

Well now brother we will cross over

And find the land called paradise

Yes now father like the cliffs of dover

I see the white washed wave's walls rise

The two monks named Braddock and Craddock

Took to the strait where they lost their lives

And on the twin islands of flat and steep holm

The daughters and mothers wept their eyes

These two saints who paint their covers

But then did they lose what was written inside

On the quaint islands of pass over

Where the peace dove with an olive branch flies

Now did Noah take his animals

On such a journey where everyone of them dies

And had the heathen pulled down Babel

And had the the sorcerors told their lies

And did Braddock die with Craddock

On the row boat on the Bristol tide

Putting on a show

 It could be good,

It could be bad

It could be the best you've had

Oh putting on a show

And the lights were dazzling

Oh and the nights rizzle-razzling

Wait here's the Great pretender

Oh I could've been a contender

If I only crossed the line

Putting on a show

And the people are crowding

In the balconies and stalls

And the audience is rowdy

And you can hear the cat calls

You want what nobody asks for

You ask what nobody hears

What do you to wear so many masks for?

How do you conquer so many fears?

Putting on a show

Oh come and see the great pretender

He's performing himself

At hall near you

 He tried to be you

And that really fell through

So he climbed back into his old role instead

Putting on a show

Dangers of holidays

 There are dangers in this

There are dangers in that

There dangers to run, maybe a cat

There are reasons to be and there are reasons not to be

But we see there are dangers

Dangers in Life

Come on and break the wave

Of this falling, can'tyou be brave

Enslave, the craving, the craving

And delays to sunny days

Come and make the right waves

There are dangers to this

And yet there are dangers to that

The great house between me

CHRIST ABOVE and fills me with love

And we're walking through the rainbow

Of all this testimony

Make it leave or make it stay

There is nothing better

On a holiday with you

Make it leave or make it go

I will be there when the final whistle blows

I will be there at the end of the game

At the end of the line

Find me in the crowd

Of substitution shouting loud

A day score line at the end of the day

Finally they say there is only one way up

And one way down

On a holiday with you

Can't even say

Take me for what I am

Oh take me for what I'm not

Take me in a traffic jam

Take me off, take me in

Panda blues

 You know I even thought

I could have pandered to you

I could've pandered, could've pandered to you

But you beat me black and blue

With the birch stick screw

I was black and white

Like a hole out in space

I lost my signal like a TV

Like a celebrity disgraced

Yet I could've pandered to you

I could've pandered, could've pandered

To you
