Love catch 22

They want to catch me

In their decoy trap

They want to hold me

Safely off the map

I am wanted by the everyman

Wanted by the league

Wanted by the ferryman

Who just wants me to leave

Wanted by the school master

In the grand school hall

Wanted by disaster,

When calamity calls

And I have given all I've wanted

And wanted more than I took

And read up on the haunted house

In your horror book

I have never wanted much

Just the warmth of your touch

Never wanted more

But perhaps it wasn't enough

And who now will want me?

But that I wind up dead

With a bullet in my back

And one more in my head

Who now will want me

But for a sordid power plot

One where law has acted

And I have got what I got

Who can contain their words

Like a humming from a hive

Oh yes I'm wanted well my lords

I'm wanted dead or alive

And I hold to ransom

All the people of my age

Who for a moment transformed

Like actors on a stage

Well I bit the bullet

Bit the bullet of love

And I chewed and I pulled it

But it was never enough

And it hit me in the stomach

I caught it in my gut

Oh I was down and hung it

Like a trophy in a hut

open ended

What is it that you can grant me?

Do you have the power above?

What is it that you want from me?

My holiness or eternal love?

Well mater it's pretanatural

Well vater it doesn't matter

Well husband I am housebound

And Wife you have my life

I didn't mean that you say to me

When we have got our wires crossed

And why don't you sail out to sea

Where you'll be in the four winds tossed

And how can you answer me like

You were talking to my ghost

And how can you reprimand me

Like a sergeant at arms for leaving his post?

I came to you with my arms open

And you took me in like I was an orphan

But promise me this don't leave me alone

In the night of terror forms shift

Like that planet around its axis

Thwarted

I am thwarted yes I'm thwarted

Every single day

I am thwarted, yes I'm thwarted

In every single way

Don't you queer my pitch

I want to play

I cavorted, and I sported

Oh just wanted to play

But I am thwarted, yes

I'm thwarted

in every single way

Love Letters

 From A to B

Dear B I have always cared about you, but you know you are basically too close for comfort

I need some distance, please give me some space

A to Z

You have always had my heart, all the letters we are apart

Nothing could move me better, than the sound of your letter

B to C

Don't try to own me C

Your Body mass index is G

Act your age and not your shoe size B

You always put body before brain

Always the corpus and never the vein

O to K

I guess you could have had a point when you said let's just forget the whole thing

If it's OK by you, it's OK by me K

You kick me and I gawp, what you need is a sport, I'm not your football

Stop trying to score goals with my soul

I am empty without you K, do write back quickly, OK?

W to E

If I were a winged bird, I'd fly to your nest of eggs

And sit and roost upon you, make you feel my woolly legs

But what I am is double V I'm two times the woman

I used to be, I'm Venus of two minds, like twin sisters

But We always will love Mister E

U to S

We must meet up the two of us it has been too long

Too much C in the way, a long C I mean not your

Common or garden channel

It has been like a light age, full of stars and planets

Uranus for instance, was one of the places we'd meet

But now that social distance has increased

we'd be lucky to meet on Pluto

Still hope is not lost while we are instantaneous

We sure are entangled the two of US

Bit coin Millionaire

 Bit coin Millionaire

He was a bit coin billionaire

He drove round in a Ferrari

And showed off his great flair

Bitcoin millionaire

Bitcoin millionaire

Millions in the bank, thousand more to spare

Driving around in his Subaru impresso

Like he hasn't any cares

He was a bitcoin million

He'sgot Millions in the bonds

And thousands everywhere

He's got coins in white paper

That don't even mean a thing

He's a bit coin, he's a bit coin king

And everything he has is in a bubble that will burst

Come the good and bad, come the hunger or thirst

Whatever you have will soon turn to dust

And its vapour rise into thin air

He's a bit coin millionaire

But life is so fickle

And the markets go into thin air

Bit coins like white butterflies fly up

The gambler will tell you earnestly

That his scheme will never fail

But you know so truthfully the end of that tale

There are always the losing streaks, and as many times he wins

He will lose a packet and you'll be left holding the string

Now who can tie up all of these loose ends

Like a spaghetti junction you can get lost round the bends

And twists and turns of a gambler's world you cannot trust his word

For nothing is just quite so absurd as the lines you've heard

Sometimes he is on an up and next he's on a low

Depends upon which current he's riding on in the sky of snow

Where he tries to catch the snow flakes

Oh so delicate in his hands

But they melt just like the milk on cornflakes

He is a self-made snowman

Will the sun's strong heat melt away his plans

As coins go slipping through his fingers

Just like melt water through his hot hands

The ghost of Christmas past or Brexit's Monster

 There'll be pigs in blankets

huddling cold meat in the street

And chlorinated chicken getting cold chicken feet

The response has been paltry poultry and foul Fowl

And it's fair game for the pheasants

Who follow the plough

And furlongs of furloughs have run the furrows low

As the mechanized industry is on the hill's brow

Like a silouhette of a monster in the dawn's early glow

Well its Brexit's monster now

What the working class wanted were better wages

To get the jobs back that they felt were their heritage

But what they have got are empty shelves and vacancies

Which none of them will fill for they've run out of sympathies

The jobs don't pay high enough they say with disdain

Then doctor Brexit comes at them again and again

This is independent Britain, this your birth right's claim

But who will do the work is Dr Brexit's Monster

He's mean and he's stiff, he's wonky and lacks self control

But his bionic limbs and till fields for vegetables

He can plough furrows, and he can glean lands

And he doesn't mind getting dirt on his hands

Oh sure he's an android, but what did you expect?

From the next generation of workers after Brexit

Few British workers could compete with European toll

And therefore our farming will be under mechanized control

They wanted higher wages, what they got was higher prices

of Food, fuel, electricity and gas in their houses

And if they can get to work at all

They can barely afford their utility bill

Oh it's the revenge of Brexit's monster

Well we treated him like he was a fool,

Writhing around in a small gene pool

With recruitment sharks hanging around his school

Yes he's an office clerk because he don't work with tools

He's got a mental age of 3 but he's learning fast

From his AI brain and his hardwired heart

And his mother board's fried and his fatherland

Smells of fart

Oh he's Brexit's monster

It was nothing urgent

 It was nothing urgent

Not something I really meant for you to know

You're probably too busy

So let's get on with the show

It was nothing urgent

Don't mind me if I say

Hello how are you?, please get on with your day

Everyone's in a panic

Like there's a powder keg below their feet

And they're running like pandas

Black and white down the street

They must do their shopping

They must fight the other one

It is like a parade

Of the nuclear mum

And everyone is rushing

Like the nuclear family might explode

Like if you aren't on their side

You need to get out of the road

But can't you see it is a fever

Of the damned lost of self-control

Everyone swimming in a hellish river

Like doomed fish in a shoal

And the whale is coming

Its mouth is open wide

It will swallow them all up

Like it swallows their pride

It was nothing urgent

I just called to let you know

That we need a new government

One that will let the country grow
